Terms of Service

Adapter Labs operates a portfolio of software products including HirePad, JobRank, and Lattice, as well as a consulting practice at adapter.ai. These terms govern your use of all Adapter Labs products and websites.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep it up to date.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By using our products, you represent that you meet this requirement.

You may use our products for their intended purposes. You may not use them to violate any laws, infringe on the rights of others, distribute malware, attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, or interfere with the operation of our products.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

You retain ownership of all data you enter into our products. We do not claim intellectual property rights over your content. You grant us a limited license to host, store, and process your data solely to operate and improve the products.

You may export or delete your data at any time. Upon account deletion, we will remove your data from active systems within 30 days and from backups within 90 days.

Adapter Labs retains all rights to the products themselves, including the software, design, branding, and documentation. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from our products.

Paid features are billed according to the pricing displayed at the time of purchase. We will notify you of price changes at least 30 days in advance. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

For consulting engagements through adapter.ai, fees are specified in separate statements of work.

We aim to keep our products available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, updates, or modifications that temporarily affect availability. We will provide reasonable notice for planned downtime.

Our products are provided "as is" without express or implied warranties. We do not guarantee that our products will be error-free, meet specific objectives, or be compatible with all systems. No warranties cover third-party integrations or services.

Our maximum liability is limited to amounts you have paid us in the 12 months preceding a claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including lost profits, data loss, or business interruption. Claims must be filed within one year.

You may close your account at any time. We may terminate or suspend your access for violation of these terms or non-payment. Upon termination, your right to use the products ends, but provisions regarding data ownership, liability, and intellectual property survive.

We may update these terms and will notify active users by email of material changes. Continued use of our products after changes constitutes acceptance. If you disagree with updated terms, you may close your account.

These terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Adapter Labs. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining terms continue in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision does not waive our right to do so in the future. Neither party is liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control.
